Dermal Fillers

Dermal Fillers can be artistically and delicately administered by our expert doctors to correct deeper lines, enhance specific facial features including lips, the under eyes and cheeks, as well as to address sagging skin.

Our doctors’ ‘full face’ philosophy combines a comprehensive understanding of anatomy and facial proportions with a real understanding of how each layer of the face ages. This is essential to delivering results which harmonise with your face and integrate well with your skin.

Facial contouring and re-balancing the face can be achieved with dermal fillers. Cheek bones can be highlighted and lifted, jawlines defined, chins elongated and temples re-volumised to create a more youthful face shape.

Alternatively, specific lines can be treated including the line between the brows, smile lines, ‘smokers’ lines, and the mouth corners can be repositioned to stop them dipping down.

At White Swan Aesthetics, we only use market-leading products with the strongest clinical evidence behind them. These include Juvederm, Restylane, Aliaxin and Teosyal.

Our belief is that ‘one shoe does not fit all’ and so our doctors will assess your skin type and treatment goals and carefully select the most appropriate product to suit your needs and deliver the best possible result.

The effects of dermal filler treatments can be seen immediately, and the effects can last for up to 12 months.

We have built our reputation on providing skilful, natural and artistic facial aesthetics and strive to achieve the highest level of client care.

Treatment Areas

Lips

Lip enhancements are one of the most popular aesthetic treatments that we offer at White Swan. There is an increasing demand for fuller, more luscious lips. However, lips also become thinner and less defined as part of the ageing process and many clients simply wish to restore the texture and shape that has been lost with age. Our doctors carefully assess your lips from all angles and in relation to your facial features so that they can advise you on the perfect ratio, shape and volume for you.

The cupids bow is a key area which can add a beautiful feminine definition to the lip and as part of the ageing process it can flatten. Our doctors are experts at cupids bow enhancements and our “Swan Lake Lip Enhancment” package focuses on adding volume as well as creating cupids bow definition.

Little barcode lines (“smokers lines”) can also form within the lip and above the top lip and these can be corrected with a little Botox and also a little dermal filler. A smooth hydrating and dynamic product like the Teoxane RHA2 will move with your lip and therefore create a beautifully natural and smooth appearance.

We welcome all minority groups into our clinics to receive the highest level of carefully tailored, expert knowledge from our doctors. A “one fits all” approach is simply not good enough when it comes to delivering optimal aesthetic results.

Our doctors and dentists are specifically trained to understand and treat all ethnic variations of lip shape and also appriciate different cultural preferences and views on beauty.

Treating the male lip is often neglected and requires specific expertise. Some men wish to have a fuller lip which is not “over-feminised” and other transgender or transvestite individuals may wish to have an over-exaggerated or ultra-feminine lip appearance. Whatever your specific desires, our doctors can discuss the best way to achieve them.

Patient comfort is a top priority for us. We offer a powerful topical numbing cream or full freezing options if you wish to be completely numb during the procedures at no additional charge.

Cheeks

Our doctors carefully analyse each section of your face and each layer of your face using our unique “full face” protocol. As we grow more mature, the front portion of the cheek flattens, making it feel like the face is “dropping” or “sagging”. Therefore, the best way to address the jowls or lift the lower face can be to replace the volume in the cheeks first, before considering lower face enhancements. There are many ways of re-augmenting lost definition and volume to the cheek using an advanced layering technique which can additionally help return tautness to the skin.

The height of the cheekbones can be lifted and sculpted for younger clients to give a beautifully contoured cheek. Cheek fillers can be used to restore symmetry which is one of the key factors associated with classic beauty and very few faces are naturally perfectly symmetrical. Our doctors keen eye for detail and extended consultation process can pick up which subtle tweaks will make a big overall difference.

Cheek filler can also be used to alter the overall face shape. For example, to create a more “heart shaped” outline. Our Juvéderm and Aliaxin products can last up to 12 months and our Voluma or Teosyal Ultra Deep products can last up to 18 months.

Dermal Filler for the Lower Face

Nasolabial / Marionettes

The lines that extend from the nose to the mouth (nasolabial folds) and the marionette lines which extend from the mouth downwards can both be very effectively treated with dermal filler. Our cannula technique minimises any bruising or swelling and means our doctors get a beautifully smooth result. This is one of the most popular areas that our doctors treat with dermal filler and it gives an immediate anti-ageing effect.

Chin

Defining and improving someone’s profile is the latest trend in aesthetics and this starts with ensuring the chin rests in line, or just behind, the lower lip when viewed from the side profile. Length can also be added to the chin with dermal filler to elongate a rounder-shaped face. This is a particularly popular treatment request from some ethnic groups. Our doctors are specifically trained to appreciate, understand and skilfully deliver results to clients from all ethnic backgrounds.

The chin itself can also lose its bony structure and become dimpled with age. This can be treated with a combination of a thick dermal filler like our Teosyal Ultimate and Botox to smooth the “pebbled” surface.

Jawline

Perhaps you are noticing that your jawline has lost shape and definition, something that can happen with age. This can lead to overall facial sagging and the development of jowls, both of which can be disguised with carefully placed dermal filler.

Filler placed at the angle of your jaw also sharpens and contours your jawline and, when combined with chin filler, it can dramatically re-balance your profile. Our Gliding Profile Rebalancing treatment package is aimed at transforming the nose, cheeks, jawline and chin (as required) to create a stunning side view.

A thick dermal filler is perfect for addressing jawline concerns. Our Juvéderm products can last up to 12 months and our Voluma or Teosyal Ultra Deep products can last up to 18 months.

Dermal Filler for the Upper Face

Glabella/Frown Line

Botox is the best preventative option for the crease between the eyebrows but if the line is too deep then dermal filler may need to be used, in addition, to create the desired result. This is a very delicate and risky area if the correct technique is not used. Our doctors all have detailed anatomical knowledge and are skilled at administering filler in the glabella area using the safest cannula approach.

Temples

Temples are one of the areas which hollow with age, as the underlying bone is lost and the area sinks in. Our doctors use a unique consultation protocol which looks at each layer of the face which will identify hollows which could benefit from reshaping as its not something many clients will come into the clinic asking for! Re-volumising the temple area will also help lift the eyelids and open the eye area.

A beautiful thick dermal filler like Juvéderm Voluma, which lasts up to 18 months, can very effectively plump out these temples into their previously more rounded shape.

Advanced Dermal Filler Treatments

Tear Trough (Under Eye) Dermal Filler

You might notice, as you get older, that the area around your eyes (called the tear trough) can become sunken. This can lead to the appearance of dark circles, making you look more tired. Hollowing and darkening of the under-eye area can be treated by our skilled doctors using artistically placed dermal filler. We only use specialist under-eye products for this delicate region like Teosyal Redensity II or Aliaxin SR and specialise in a cannula technique which is the safest way to administer the treatment and reduces the risk of bruising.

The Tear Trough is part of the “mid face” region and so our doctors will spend significant time during your consultation looking at your face as a whole and specifically the mid face. Often a loss of volume in the front of the cheeks is present in tear trough (under eye hollow) cases and a combination of cheek filler and under eye filler is required to completely rejuvenate the mid face region.

Non-Surgical Nose Reshaping/Bunny Nose

If you don’t like the way your nose looks but do not want a surgical rhinoplasty, this treatment might be what you are looking for. Using a dermal filler around the nose can help reshape it without the need for surgery. A small amount of filler can treat minor deformities and can also be used to fine-tune results after surgery. A drooping nose tip, a twisted nose, eliminating a bump and thinning the nose tip can all be achieved with dermal filler alone. The procedure is fully non-surgical and therefore there is very little downtime and immediate results.

Acne Scarring

A beautifully thin dermal filler, which can be easily spread and massaged into the skin, is ideal for treating acne scarring and other types of scars. RHA2 by Teosyal or Aliaxin SR are both perfect options for this. It takes a skilled and experienced physician to treat scarring effectively with dermal filler.

Liquid facelift

This specialist White Swan technique uses dermal filler in multiple areas and with varying thicknesses to create an overall non-surgical “facelift effect”. After a bespoke consultation, the areas of volume loss will be identified and a treatment plan constructed, mapping out all the required treatment areas. Multiple syringes of dermal filler are used to achieve this lifting and overall anti-ageing effect.

Our White Swan Complete Contour explains our “full face” package.

Dermal Filler for Hand Rejuvenation

The hands can sometimes be a real giveaway of someone’s age and now there are many non-surgical solutions to combat this. Dermal filler can plump the hands to reduce a bony appearance. Skinboosters and Profhilo can improve the quality and texture of the hands and our Obagi medical grade creams can reduce the sun damage and d
