Masseter Botox involves injecting Botulinum Toxin A into the masseter muscle, primarily to achieve facial slimming and jawline contouring. This treatment reduces the square appearance of the jaw, creating a more V-shaped look. It is also effective for alleviating symptoms of bruxism (teeth grinding) and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder, providing relief from jaw tension and pain.

Procedure: The procedure is non-surgical and minimally invasive. It starts with cleansing and marking the injection sites on the jaw. Typically, 15-50 units of Botox are injected into each side of the masseter muscle. The treatment takes about 3 to 5 minutes and requires no downtime, allowing patients to resume their daily activities immediately. Full results are usually visible within 4 to 6 weeks, and the effects last between 4 to 6 months. For extended results, regular maintenance treatments are recommended.
